Ornament & Crime

Sophisticated handcraft jewellery brand created by Zi Kim.

A London-based handcrafted jewellery brand created by Zi Kim, blending art, history, and personal expression.

After earning her fashion degree from Central Saint Martins, Zi Kim began her creative journey in 2013. What started as a passion project on a tiny table became Ornament & Crime in 2015. Over the past decade, the brand has grown organically, gaining a loyal following in both Japan and the UK.

At Ornament & Crime, we believe in the beauty of simplicity and the power of individuality. Our designs are thoughtfully crafted to add quiet strength and character to the wearer—each piece a subtle statement of personal style. Rather than chasing trends, we are committed to creating enduring, timeless jewellery that can be worn and cherished for years.

Our inspiration spans a wide range: from natural elements like the Moon, Sun, Water, and Rocks, to antique books, spiritual tales, and forgotten histories. We also draw from the clean lines and clarity of design movements such as Bauhaus, finding harmony between form and function. Using materials like silver and gold, we create a grounded connection with the earth.

What sets Ornament & Crime apart is our dedication to artistry. Many pieces are infused with hand-drawn motifs and subtle details, transforming jewellery into wearable narratives. These artistic touches ensure each item feels personal and unique.

We understand jewellery is more than just an accessory—it's an extension of the self. That’s why we design pieces that fit naturally into everyday life, while still holding space for special moments. From perfume bottle necklaces to sculptural pendants, our collections offer poetic yet practical designs for all occasions.

Join us in celebrating a decade of thoughtful making—where craft meets spirit, and jewellery becomes a quiet companion to your journey.
